Themed “Achieving Global Halal Integrity”, the 4th World Halal Forum (WHF) will again be held at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, adjacent to the Petronas Twin Towers, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The theme for WHF 2009 is a follow through of WHF 2008, which tasked and entrusted the International Halal Integrity Alliance (IHI Alliance) with developing a global halal standard. This global standard will unify a fragmented halal industry and enhance the level of halal integrity.
Ten standard modules and its impact on business deliberated, the sheer nature of the impact expected on the halal industry is expected to draw over 2,500 delegates making a beeline. WHF 2009 will also see a change in format with two stream being held concurrently, one the modules and another on business implications.
From a gathering of high-level participants, industry experts, academicians and scholars, deliberations and resolutions at WHF 2009 will shape the future of the halal industry.
